Well, I'm just now getting around to posting some pics of the baby. By now most of y'all have probably already seen her, so I put some more recent pics on here along with one when she was born. She's our beautiful little girl!!
I knew this time would come eventually; when my kids would discover their wings and start practicing for the day they fly away. The last few years with our big three kids have been like watching little birds jumping and fluttering above the nest. I'm not sure how bird families actually do it but for us, this fluttering gives them a taste of what is beyond the nest. They long to experience and explore life outside the bundle of twigs, but they aren't quite ready to go on their own. As a parent, we must offer to take them, help them understand and navigate the world around them, and eventually they will be ready to explore and manage life on their own. I didn't anticipate this sort of thing to happen with all three big kids at the same time, but it has in a way. I'm so grateful for how God has led and provided for them all and pray for the grace and strength to lead and guide them well through these transitioning years. The following happenings and situations should prove that I have ADD and do not need a test to tell me this....... -My appt. was at 1:00 and they told me to get there early. I planned to leave my house at 12:40 and didn't walk out the door until 12:50 and then still had to go back inside to get my phone which I could not find and ended up being under the sheets on my bed... yes, I made the bed with my phone in it. So, I didn't actually leave until 12:56. -I had to call on the way to find out where they were located b/c, no, I hadn't even done THAT yet.......ugh!!!!! Luckily I knew right where it was and it wasn't too far away. -I have no clue what time it was when i walked in the door and they just put me straight back and let me fill out my paper work afterwards (since I was late, obviously). It didn't even cross my mind to tell them on
